October is where the fixture list stops being polite. A short international stretch comes first, then four straight Premier League matchweeks with nothing in between. If you plan to register with Bet9ja in October, the code you want is YOHAIG.

What you get for entering the code

Bet9ja puts a promotion code box on the registration form, and it gets skipped more often than you would think. Type YOHAIG into that box and the account is flagged for the welcome offer, worth up to ₦100,000 depending on your first deposit. There is no way to apply it later, which is why the field matters at sign-up.

The code costs nothing to use. It works on new registrations only, and there are rollover terms attached, as there are on every offer of this kind. Check those terms before your first deposit, not after it clears.

Open an account using the code YOHAIG for up to ₦100,000 as a welcome bonus.

The first week belongs to the national teams

The UEFA Nations League runs its third and fourth rounds between the 1st and the 6th of October, so the opening week is international football only. The Super Eagles finish their break against Russia in Nizhny Novgorod on Tuesday 6 October. A kick-off time had not been published when this was written, so check it on the day rather than assuming.

What the Premier League gives you this month

Club football restarts on Saturday 10 October. Arsenal versus Leeds United opens it at lunchtime, Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur later that day, and Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield on the Sunday. The 17th and 18th give you Everton against Chelsea, Newcastle United versus Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest against Arsenal.

Matchweek eight starts on Friday 23 October with Ipswich Town versus Nottingham Forest and peaks with Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening. The month closes on Saturday 31 October with Chelsea against Manchester United at lunchtime and Aston Villa hosting Fulham under the lights.

One thing hanging over the month: Manchester City have reportedly been found guilty on almost all of the 115 charges brought against them. No sanction had been confirmed when this was written. If anything lands mid-season it moves the title and relegation markets hard, so watch the news before you touch a long-range bet.

A timing note worth more than most tips

British clocks go back on Sunday 25 October and Nigeria does not move. Up to Saturday the 24th, a kick-off listed in UK time is the same clock time in Lagos. From the 25th you add an hour, so a 15:00 English kick-off is 16:00 Nigerian time.

Practical notes for October

•

• Fill the promo field while registering, since there is no way back to it. It is a one-time field.

• Decide what the whole month costs you before 10 October. A month with no pause in it is where discipline slips.

Where to check the current offer

Bonus terms in this market move, so it pays to read the live page rather than trust a screenshot from three months ago. The bet9ja promotion code page on bet9japromotioncode.com.ng carries the current terms and the parts of the offer people usually miss.

Between the Super Eagles in Russia, Liverpool against Manchester City at Anfield and four uninterrupted Premier League matchweeks, October has plenty on it. Whatever your coupon looks like, keep it inside a number you decided on beforehand.

Create your account now with the code YOHAIG to claim up to ₦100,000 as a welcome bonus.

New customers only, 18 and over, terms apply. Play responsibly.
