October is where the fixture list stops being polite. An international window opens the month, and once it clears there are four Premier League matchweeks back to back with no break in them. If you plan to register with bet9ja promo code YOHAIG in October, the code you want is YOHAIG.

What you get for entering the code

The promo field sits on the Bet9ja registration form and most people scroll straight past it. Enter YOHAIG in that box and your new account qualifies for a welcome bonus of up to ₦100,000, scaled to your opening deposit. There is no way to apply it later, which is why the field matters at sign-up.

The code costs nothing to use. New customers only, and the bonus comes with wagering conditions, which is standard across the market. Read them on the promo page before you fund the account.

Register with promotion code YOHAIG to claim up to ₦100,000 as a welcome bonus.

Nigeria in Russia to finish the break

Nations League matchdays three and four fall between 1 and 6 October, which means no club football in the first week. The Super Eagles finish their break against Russia in Nizhny Novgorod on Tuesday 6 October. The kick-off time was still unannounced when this went up, so confirm it before you stake.

The club season returns on 10 October

Club football restarts on Saturday 10 October. Arsenal versus Leeds United opens it at lunchtime, Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur later that day, and Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield on the Sunday. A week later you get Everton versus Chelsea, Newcastle United against Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest hosting Arsenal on Sunday evening.

Matchweek eight starts on Friday 23 October with Ipswich Town versus Nottingham Forest and peaks with Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening. The final Saturday, 31 October, opens with Chelsea against Manchester United and ends with Aston Villa versus Fulham.

One thing hanging over the month: Manchester City have reportedly been found guilty on almost all of the 115 charges brought against them. No sanction had been confirmed when this was written. If anything lands mid-season it moves the title and relegation markets hard, so watch the news before you touch a long-range bet.

A timing note worth more than most tips

The United Kingdom returns to GMT on Sunday 25 October while Nigerian time stays where it is. Up to Saturday the 24th, a kick-off listed in UK time is the same clock time in Lagos. After that Sunday you add sixty minutes, which makes a 15:00 English kick-off a 16:00 start here.

How to approach a month this full

•

• Fill the promo field while registering, since there is no way back to it. It is a one-time field.

• Set a monthly figure before the clubs come back and stick to it. A month with no pause in it is where discipline slips.
