October is the point in the season where the calendar gets crowded. The month starts with countries, and once that window shuts the Premier League runs four matchweeks without pausing. If you are opening a Bet9ja account this month, the promotion code is YOHAIG.

What you get for entering the code

There is a promo field on the bet9ja promotion code october 2026 sign-up form, and plenty of new users leave it blank. Type YOHAIG into that box and the account is flagged for the welcome offer, worth up to ₦100,000 depending on your first deposit. It is a one-time box, because the code will not attach to an account that already exists.

Nothing is charged for the code. New customers only, and the bonus comes with wagering conditions, which is standard across the market. Read them on the promo page before you fund the account.

Sign up with the YOHAIG promotion code to claim up to ₦100,000 as a welcome bonus.

The first week belongs to the national teams

The UEFA Nations League runs its third and fourth rounds between the 1st and the 6th of October, so the opening week is international football only. Nigeria travel to the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium to face Russia in a friendly on Tuesday 6 October. A kick-off time had not been published when this was written, so check it on the day rather than assuming.

Four Premier League matchweeks with no gap

League football resumes on Saturday 10 October. Arsenal versus Leeds United opens it at lunchtime, Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur later that day, and Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield on the Sunday. The 17th and 18th give you Everton against Chelsea, Newcastle United versus Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest against Arsenal.

The third matchweek opens on Friday 23 October with Ipswich Town against Nottingham Forest and runs through to Chelsea hosting Tottenham Hotspur on the Saturday evening. October finishes on Saturday 31st, Chelsea versus Manchester United at lunchtime and Aston Villa against Fulham in the evening.

One thing hanging over the month: Manchester City have reportedly been found guilty on almost all of the 115 charges brought against them. The penalty had not been announced when this went up. If anything lands mid-season it moves the title and relegation markets hard, so watch the news before you touch a long-range bet.

Why kick-off times move on 25 October

British clocks go back on Sunday 25 October and Nigeria does not move. Up to Saturday the 24th, a kick-off listed in UK time is the same clock time in Lagos. From the 25th onward, add an hour: a match listed at 15:00 in England starts at 16:00 in Nigeria.
